. Crinoid Groups 1-5 1 2 3 4 5 OTHER PARTS |
[as of yet unidentified]
So far, I have two specimens which fit the basic description as follows...
The cup plates which are visible have ornamentation (small dots) on the
outer surface. At the time I found the first two specimens in this group (in the
summer of 2006), I had not seen any such ornamentation on any of my other specimens from this formation.
Due to the low number of remaining plates in either specimen, it may not be
possible to identify these down to their species (or maybe not even to the
genus), but at least it's interesting to know that I have at least a third
species (and two more found in the summer of 2007) from this formation with this
group.
