Here are the images of the first specimen. Let me know your thoughts.

Unfortunately, this one is in two pieces. The rock it's situated on happened to split into two pieces
with the split happening to go directly through the specimen of interest. At least I didn't break it.
I've added a red circle to this one to clue you in to where it is.

Finally, there not as impressive with this specimen as with others on my site,
but here are a couple photos taken through one lens of my friend, Kent's binocular microscope...




I will refer you back to this image (and to one of the third specimen) when considering my second
specimen from this formation.
