This is the central location where I announce additions or changes at
Every Fork in the Road dot org. It's also kinda like a journal of
thoughts and/or events having to do with me and my life (some might
refer to it as a Blog [which is short for Web Log]).
To join my "What's Up?" mailing list, please see my
notes about it at the bottom of this page.

This entry is about something I heard on 'Reality TV' tonight. In fact,
I've already edited the related section and the show is still on at the
moment I'm adding this update. Time for me to get back to the show.
Oh ya,
here's the link.

Once again, it's been a while since the last time I added anything new
here. Oh well. I've been quite busy, and it's not like I'm getting
barraged by angry fan-mail anyway (or any fan-mail for that matter...hehehehe).
My latest addition is in my "What's Wrong in this Image?" section. It's
about something I saw on the internet today.
Here's the link.

I know, it's hard to imagine. How's this guy go for so long without
saying anything? Well, just because I haven't been contributing anything
new to this site for a while doesn't mean I haven't been thinking.
Specifically, one big reason I haven't added anything for a while is all
of the trouble I've had with past web hosts (the company that owns the
server on which a web site sits). I won't bore you with the details
here, but if you're interested, I'd be happy to share them with you if
you ask me via e-mail (see my
contact page).
I have just moved this website to a
different web host;
HostGator.com.
This one seems much more 'on the ball' than any of the others I've ever
been with (and I've had at least five now for this site). I can't
recommend them quite yet, but I'll certainly keep y'all posted.
Now that I'm finally able to settle down and relax with my site at what
seems to be a respectful and reliable web host, I think I might soon get
back into contributing more often and with a higher frequency than I
have been for quite a while.
Again, I'm very sorry for the delay in getting new stuff up here (as if
you care....as if anyone actually comes to this website and actually
reads this stuff....hey, I'm not such a goofball that I think I have
some kind of fan club or something.....no one even mentioned the silence
the whole time I was silent....no comments, no phone calls, no e-mails,
etc......I know this is primarily an exercise in futility and self
gratification....but just in case....) and thank you for your patience
during this time of transition.

"You Don't Say"
Pondering Human Communication at Every Fork in the Road
Today I added a new section to my website.
Here's the link to the main
section.
The first subsection in this new section is called "Reading
Comprehension" and the first article is called "Lteter Psoitoin"
and is about something I've seen talked about on the internet and posted
on the counter in an office at work recently.
Here's the link
to this first article if this new section.

Lost & Found at Every Fork in the Road
Yep, I finally did it. I've been wanting to put up something like this
on my site for a long time and I finally got it started tonight. It's
not much yet, but even if I never do another thing to this new section,
please don't miss the first item listed; it's a person; a long-lost
friend named Perry Nixon. Here's
the link to the new page and
this is
the section about Perry in particular.

My First Winching. Yep, this is my first post of the year 2005.
Today I went back-roading up in Lefthand Canyon. I had a very
interesting and unique experience.
Here is the link.

Mailing List = What's Up at Every Fork in the Road?
If you want to get on this list and be notified when I add new stuff,
just send an e-mail to [WhatsUp -AT-
EveryForkInTheRoad -DOT- org] with the following text in the
subject, "EFitR_List_What's Up? Request To Join". Also, please tell me
(in the body of your e-mail) who you are and what your interest is in
hearing about updates on my website (One sentence is sufficient if
you're willing to share, but you do not have to tell me anything to join
the list if you would prefer to remain anonymous).
When you receive "What's Up?" messages from me (usually no
more than two per month, and occasionally none for a couple months at a
time depending on how busy I am at the task of updating my website),
they will have the following text in the subject line, "EFitR_List_What's
Up?". If I decide to change that subject text, I'll first try to
remember to send you a notice with the original subject in it and tell
you about the change before I actually implement it. Also, it will come
to you from the address [WhatsUp -at-
EveryForkInTheRoad -dot- org]. So, it should be obvious when you
receive them that they're coming from this site. |
