Our day began by driving up Four Mile Canyon to Sunset.
Then, to the left here is where we got onto the Switzerland Trail.
You may recall this spot...
As we rounded a curve in the road, Karen noticed the scene out to the East...
Those are the foothills of Boulder; shrouded by clouds that cover the city we'd normally see below.

We stopped at our favorite 'picnic on the rocks' spot for some pics.
The white line you see generally winding from lower-right to upper-left
is the portion of the Switzerland Trail between Sunset and Sugarloaf to the South-East.
We're on the section that goes from Sunset to Gold Hill to the North.
