Sunday, July 5th, 2009 - Our Annual, Anniversary Hike in Paradise

As many of you already know (I know, it's like a broken record coming from me by now if you know me at all),
we come to this area every year in July for our anniversary vacation.
One of our favorite places to hike is the Molas Pass area. We hike down from there to Molas Lake
(no photos of the lake on this day, but there will be on the pages for following days),
along a portion of the 'Colorado Trail', through some of the most beautiful land I've ever seen.

This is an older FJ that was sitting in the Triangle gas station parking lot in Silverton.
We decided to go back up to a little spot on Molas Pass before heading back to Ouray
This is just a mile or so South of Silverton
We could have hiked back in there a ways to get a better view of the waterfalls further up-stream,
but we had already had our hike for the day.
Well, that's that. Just another ho-hum, run-of-the-mill, average, beautiful day in Paradise. :-)
