Sandi, the Fossil Journey Cruiser:
a Boulder Sandstorm at Every Fork in the Road

Bill Moore Lake with FJinCO (and a couple guys in a Jeep) (20100619)

This is where FJinCO stopped driving and hiked the rest of the way to the lake a couple days before we did this run together.
Here's the link to the post in the forum thread where he posted photos of their hike.

Here you can see FJinCO coming through where I busted the trail open.
You can also see the ATVs tot he right that were way off trail.

In a brief conversation, they said something about going around us up in the snow.
FJinCO told them that's not the trail over there. They went for it anyway, and got stuck.
I was rather satisfying, watching them trying to winch them selves out of it.

As you can see here, there are ATV tracks fro others over to the left, but our tracks are right on the trail.

Pose opp..

There was a brief moment when we thought my Sandi might be leaking something.
We heard a serious trickling noise coming fro underneath. I knelt down and checked on it when I saw the gusher
flowing down there, causing a stream running away from the rig.

Of course, I had just plowed through a snow field.
Naturally, the snow that piled up between the skid plate and the vehicle was melting. No problem.

I don't think I have video from any of this spot, but I do later on.
Next page shows the next major snow obstacle of the day.
Here's the link.
