| Is it
really Harder to Believe than not to at Every Fork in the Road? |
It's funny to me.... I recall listening to a religious
song years ago that said something like, "It's harder to believe than not to".
Really? Not for me. Just to make sure you know why I no longer believe.... it's
not because it's "harder to believe than not to".
Actually, most often it's harder to acknowledge the real world in which we
actually live than to walk along with my Imaginary Friend. That world I used to
live in was so easy it's silly. No proof needed, no thinking either. Not a
single speck of evidence ever presented for what was being accepted as real.
|
[Now, remember, I
don't know how many times I have to say this until believers understand
what my point is, but.... I'm not talking about ideas and concepts such
as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, generosity,
self-control, compassion, freedom, justice, community, or anything else
like that. I'm all for those things that are part of the religion I used
to be part of (or any worldview for that matter). |
Just check your brain at "the Door", receive God's love, accept as real
everything from the world of make-believe that you read about in the Bible (and
doubt everything from the real world, including your own intuition and
especially anything that comes from those wicked scientists) and everything else
will all be fine in the end
[unless that's not God's will for your life of
course].
