Saturday, July 17th, 2010 - A Day in Yankee Boy Basin and an Evening in Ouray
This is on the way back up from the lower lake on the little loop that goes past the two of them
just below the Mt. Sneffels trailhead area

When summiting Mt. Sneffels, if you take the Lavender Col route, you pass through a wicked coulier;
the last stretch of the climb, usually a snow field (even in late summer), just below the summit
In this view, you can see that coulier; near the top, and just right of center.

This is one of my favorite photo spots. It's just perfect for grabbing shots like this.
